Residents on streets which are designated as Permit Parking Only will be able to obtain a parking permit from the Lansdale Police Department. Holders of valid permits shall be excused from permit parking prohibitions so long as the permit is properly displayed in the parked vehicle. Only noncommercial, private passenger vehicles may park in the above-described permit parking zones. The issuance of a permit does not guarantee parking.

Permit Parking registration begins on Sept. 3, and can be completed by visiting the Lansdale Borough Police Department in person at any time or day of the week

Residents may also register online by clicking here. (Note: Residents who register online will be required to come to LPD to provide the requested documents and pick up their permit.)

To register a vehicle, you must have a valid registration, valid proof of insurance, and a valid driver license, as well as proof of residency, which identifies you as a resident of Lansdale Borough. Residents will be permitted to register all vehicles eligible for permitting.

Once registration is completed, residents will be provided with a parking permit, which shall be displayed on the front windshield of the vehicle just above the certificates of inspection.

Visitor permits may be obtained from the police department , as needed, provided the vehicle in question meets the criteria for permitting under the ordinance.
