Lansdale Borough Police have released the details of an accident involving a vehicle and young boy on a bicycle on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, police were dispatched to the intersection of Columbia and South Richardson avenues shortly before 3 p.m. on Aug. 14 for a report of an accident with injuries.
A witness told North Penn Now that a woman in a vehicle struck the rear tire of the boy’s bicycle, knocking him to the ground. Police said that the driver remained on the scene, and the incident report states that there were no injuries and the boy refused medical treatment.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
Lansdale Borough Police were assisted at the scene by members of the Lansdale Volunteer Medical Services Corps.
