A Hilltown Township woman sustained serious injuries after two masked men entered her home and assaulted her with a baseball bat early Wednesday morning.
According to the release, police responded to the 100-block of Reliance Place shortly after midnight for a report of a home invasion. Upon arrival, responding officers encountered a female victim who had sustained serious injuries. Police believe the motive of the attack was robbery.
The victim was transported from the scene by Grand View Hospital Medics to Lehigh Valley Hospital for treatment of the injuries. No arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation.
