Old Forty Foot Road is scheduled to close between Hedrick Road and Kober Road in Towamencin Township, Montgomery County, beginning Tuesday, April 30, through Tuesday, May 28, for reconstruction of the bridge carrying Old Forty Foot Road over Skippack Creek, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.
During the bridge closure, Old Forty Foot Road motorists will be directed to use Route 63 (Sumneytown Pike), Bustard Road, and Route 73 (Skippack Pike). Local access will be maintained up to the bridge. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
H&K Group of Skippack, Montgomery County is the general contractor on the $1,479,567 bridge improvement project.
