Chili’s has announced that they have permanently closed their location in Montgomeryville.
The signature red chili logo has been removed from the building, and a sign on the door thanks visitors for their patronage and encourages them to visit their location in King of Prussia. The closure was confirmed in a Facebook post on April 16.
The reason behind the closure is currently unknown. Efforts by North Penn Now to secure comment from the local and corporate office have been unsuccessful.
At the time of its closure, the Tex-Mex-styled restaurant had a local rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars on Facebook, and 2.5 out of 5 on Yelp.
Chili's joins TGI Fridays and Frank Theaters as long-running businesses that have closed in Montgomeryville this year.
