Lansdale Man Accused of Dealing Methamphetamine: Police

Lansdale Borough Police have announced the arrest of 53-year-old Jeffrey Stover, in connection with a narcotics investigation that began in February.

According to the criminal complaint, Stover, who resides in an apartment in the area of Third and Broad streets, became known to police as a person who was selling $20 and $40 bags of methamphetamine. During the week of Feb. 25, two controlled purchases of narcotics were made at undisclosed locations in the borough, and the lab results later confirmed that the substance was methamphetamine.

As a result of the investigation, Stover has been charged with two felony counts of possession with intent to distribute and two felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility, in addition to misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stover was arraigned on April 15 by Magisterial District Judge Francis Lawrence Jr., who set bail at $25,000 unsecured. His next scheduled court appearance is a preliminary hearing on May 8 at 2 p.m. in front of Magisterial District Judge Ed Levine.
