Crews Responding to Fire at Double J’s Laundromat in Hatfield

Members of the Hatfield Volunteer Fire Company are currently responding to a fire along the 100 block of East Broad Street in Hatfield.

The initial call was made at 12:47 p.m., for a report of fire showing at 114 East Broad Street, which is the location of Double J’s Laundromat. Sources have informed North Penn Now that the fire began in a dryer, and firefighters are working to contain it. There is also a heavy smoke condition inside, according to our sources.

No injuries have been reported, though members of the Lansdale Volunteer Medical Services Corps are currently on scene.
