Traffic Concerns Extend Talks on Royal Farms in Upper Gwynedd

Discussions regarding the future of the former Giant location in Upper Gwynedd will be extended another month, following a lengthy Upper Gwynedd Board of Commissioners meeting on Monday night.

According to a report by Dan Sokil, traffic engineer John Wichner faced three hours of testimony regarding the proposed Royal Farms fuel station and convenience store, and the effect the plans would have on traffic in the area. Wichner was questioned by attorneys for Merck, as well as Wawa, who has their own proposed plan for a location across the street, according to the report.

Following the testimony, the commissioners unanimously agreed to continue the discussion at a special meeting, scheduled for Oct. 15. To read more about this story, click here.
