Two Florida men have been arrested on access device fraud charges in connection with an incident at a local gas station on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the release, Lower Salford Township Police were dispatched to the Exxon gas station along the 500 block of Main Street in Lower Salford at 12:11 p.m., for a report of “persons attempting to place a skimming device on a gas pump.” Police were able to locate a vehicle that matched the description provided by the complainant along the 200 block of Main Street, but the vehicle fled when police attempted to initiate a stop, the report states.

After a short pursuit, police were able to stop the vehicle, and during the subsequent search, police recovered several skimming devices, credit cards and electronic equipment, the report states. Police then arrested two men—Luis Alberto Monteagudo-Veliz, 27, of Hialeah, Fl, and Jordan Yaisel Del Torro-Portela, 28, of Miami, Fl—on charges of access device fraud, possessing instruments of crime, identity theft, dealing in proceeds of illegal activities, and theft.

Both men were remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $50,000 bail.
