Love Obsessed Announces Grand Opening in Lansdale

A popular women’s boutique will make its debut in downtown Lansdale later this month, as Love Obsessed prepares to open up shop in the front of the former Lansdale Performing Arts Center.

The Lansdale boutique—located at 311 West Main Street—will be the third location that has opened under owner Stacy Dill since 2016, joining stores in both Souderton and Quakertown.

“Seeing the growth in Lansdale, I definitely wanted to be a part of it,” said Dill, adding that she has strong familial ties to the area. “I’m excited about what’s happening with the town, just like everyone else is.”

Despite some issues with getting the building ready, Dill said that the store is on track for its grand opening, scheduled for Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. She began working on setting up the interior of the store last week, following completion of most of the construction.

“We’ve had a lot of setbacks with the construction side of things, but that part of it is mostly finished now,” said Dill. “As long as we get our permits and everything is good, we’ll be opening on that day.”

Under the Love Obsessed brand, Dill sells a mix of original and externally manufactured items, including clothing, jewelry, shoes, unique gifts and more. Additionally, each location has it’s own unique inventory and style, with the Quakertown store featuring trendy items and Souderton focusing more on classics.

“The Lansdale store will be very BoHo inspired, along with beachy casual wear, everyday pieces and things like that,” Dill said. “Each of my locations has a different vibe and feel to it. That’s something that’s unique about us.”

Dill added that she expects to hire five to six new employees for the Lansdale store, while also working full-time there herself to get the store up to speed and to also get to know her customers.

The Entrepreneurial Spirit

Prior to the opening of her first location in Quakertown, Dill had been hustling her wares online via outlets such as Etsy and Ebay for the greater part of 15 years. She attributed that drive to her parents, who were both entrepreneurs themselves.

“Being an entrepreneur is in my blood,” said Dill. “My dad instilled in me that I should never work for anyone else.”

She had primarily focused on buying and selling jewelry and clothing on Ebay, until the economy collapsed in 2008, leading to increased competition from people attempting to find a new job or niche. Afterwards, Dill created a vintage jewelry shop on Etsy, started a website and began doing in-home trunk shows throughout the region—all under the Love Obsessed brand.

“I started in the area—Souderton, Lansdale, Quakertown—just growing the name, going into people’s homes, telling them my story, telling them about Love Obsessed,” Dill said. “I was out there hustling. There wasn’t a day that I wasn’t working on my business.”

Fast forward to 2016, and Dill—then a mother of two—decided it was time to roll the dice and open a physical location for a store. She initially considered both Lansdale and locations in the Lehigh Valley, but ultimately chose to open her first store in Quakertown.

“If I wanted to be a good example for my kids, I knew I had to go for my dreams and not let fear make the decision for me,” Dill said.

The original Love Obsessed boutique became an instant success, drawing in customers from throughout the region. After only a few months, she was already getting requests to open additional locations, which lead to the store in Souderton, and now the third in Lansdale.
