A member of the Towamencin Township Police Department had a unique encounter with the miniature side of nature on Tuesday night.
While on patrol, Officer Gabriel Wasserman encountered several mini goats that had gotten loose in the township. Fortunately for residents, Wasserman remembered his training and utilized a tactical lasso to subdue the pint-sized offenders.
Determined to not go down without a fight, the mini goats used the element of surprise and deployed a mini horse named Buster to suppress the officer while attempting to make their retreat, but Buster proved to be no match for his towering opponent and was quickly taken into custody.
According to a post on Facebook, the Towamencin Township Police Department has encouraged Wasserman to add “wrangler” to his resume. They also made light of the photo of Wasserman with Buster.
“We know there are probably a million jokes about the really tall officer and the really short horse, but we could only come up with a few hundred at the station,” reads the Facebook post.
All of the animals were returned safely.
