Liberty Ministries Thrift Store Opens in Montgomeryville

Liberty Ministries Thrift Stores has announced the opening of their new superstore in Montgomeryville.

The thrift store opened on Saturday, Nov. 17, in the location where Impact and Heaven’s Treasures previously occupied. The proceeds raised at the store will go to provide rehabilitation services to men and women in prisons in Pennsylvania as well as their aftercare in Montgomery County.

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and is closed on Sundays. The donation drop-off is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Liberty Thrift Stores has other locations in Pottstown, Sanatoga, Collegeville and Quakertown.

“This is the newest of six thrift stores Liberty Ministries operates in the Bucks and Montgomery County”, said Baron King, executive director of Liberty Ministries. “We are excited to expand our operations into this new market. We believe that this expansion will allow us to grow our services in the community, including opening a new residential program, Ann’s House, a facility for at-risk women coming out of the prison system.”

The opening of Liberty Thrift Stores in this location follows the abrupt closing of Heaven’s Treasures in October due to low sales. All of the chain’s stores closed on that date, following a Facebook post and a message on their website.
