A kid-favorite play zone will cease to be this coming December, following an announcement made over the weekend on Facebook.
Jumpin’ Jack’s, located along the 700 block of Schwab Road in Hatfield, announced that they will close their doors permanently on Dec. 23, following seven and a half years of operating in the township.
Jumpin’ Jack’s is a family business, not just one for families but one owned and operated by a family. For the past seven and [a] half years, our family has been delighted to welcome this community into our playland, one of the region’s most notable inflatable party centers. Together, we’ve planned birthday parties, school events, charity functions and plain old-fashioned days of fun. Our customers have become our friends and our staff have become our extended family. We are so grateful for this opportunity to have been your go-to place for fun and entertainment.
At this time, as a family, we have decided to close our doors at Jumpin’ Jack’s and move on from this chapter of our lives. It is with saddened hearts that we are making this announcement, but it is the best decision for our family right now. This journey has been a blast, and we cannot thank you enough for the seven and a half years of laughter, fun, and all of the memories that we have shared with you.
The statement also encouraged customers to use their gift certificates and vouchers before they close next month.
Area residents, as well as current and former customers, expressed their sadness about the closure, with many posting comments regarding their favorite experiences at the party center.
“Your ability to help pull together a last minute birthday party for my 6-year-old back in September was incredible and we were so impressed,” said Tara McGrath. |She and her guests were so, so happy. We’ll miss you so much.”
