Rebounderz in Lansdale Still Open, Despite Statement Announcing Closure [UPDATED]

UPDATE: Dec. 21, 4:30 p.m. - Rebounderz corporate office has responded to North Penn Now's request for comment.

"Rebounderz Lansdale franchisee was in severe violation of their franchise agreement and have been instructed to close for not correcting the situation with the franchisor i.e. Rebounderz. This was not an action that Rebounderz Franchise and Development took lightly and attempted to work with the Lansdale franchisee for a very extended period of time. At this time, Rebounderz Lansdale has not resolved the severe violation, in order to receive services and franchise support from Rebounderz Franchise and Development or to continue operating as a Rebounderz location. The Rebounderz Lansdale franchisee may be able to shed light on what violations that were presented to him over the past 13 months, but there are no further details that we can provide at this time on behalf of Rebounderz.” – Rebounderz Franchise and Development

We have again reached out to the owner for clarification on what the alleged "severe violation" may be. We will update this story again if/when we hear back.

Customers of Lansdale’s indoor trampoline park Rebounderz were shocked to see an announcement on their website stating that they had permanently closed, but the owners have informed North Penn Now that they are very much open for business.

The announcement stems from a contract dispute between Rebounderz Corporate and the Lansdale location. The owner said that corporate owns the website, and they marked the location closed as part of the dispute.

The statement reads:

Dear Rebounderz Lansdale Customers,

As of December 18, 2018, the Rebounderz Lansdale location will be closed for business. As a valued customer, we wanted to inform you and we wanted to take the time to thank you for being a loyal customer over the years. If you have any questions or comments regarding our business closure, please feel free to contact Rebounderz Franchise and Development here.
