Two children were injured on Friday evening after a 2016 Chevrolet Impala crashed through the front wall of the Fine Wine and Good Spirits store on Harleysville Pike.
The driver, identified as 94-year-old Jacob Fell, was pulling into a parking space when he accidentally pushed the gas pedal instead of the brake, according to a report by CBS3. The crash sent glass flying throughout the store, striking one of the children. The other child was struck by the vehicle itself, according to the report.
Both children, as well as Fell, were taken to Grand View Hospital, where the trio were listed in stable condition, according to the report. No charges have been filed at this time, though police are continuing to investigate the incident.
