North Penn Kindergarten Registration for 2021-2022 School Year Now Open
If your child will be five years of age on or before Sept.
1, believe it or not, it’s time to register for kindergarten at North Penn
School District (NPSD)!
This fall, NPSD will welcome its new class of incoming
kindergarten students, the future North Penn High School Class of 2034. As each
incoming class looks different, there is much work to be done to effectively
prepare for ample staffing and resources for this new group of students. For
this reason, registering as early as possible is a big help to North Penn.
Community partnership in helping to spread the word and register ASAP plays a
key role in providing the best education and experience possible for our
youngest learners.
NPSD is encouraging all parents/guardians to complete their
student’s kindergarten registration application for the 2021-2022 school year
by Friday, April 2. This is when planning and staffing for the upcoming school
year will begin in full swing.
All registration for new kindergarten students for the
2021-2022 school year will be done online only and is open now. There are no
in-person registration appointments until further notice. Students must be five
years old on or before Sept. 1 to enter kindergarten for the 2021-2022 year.
NPSD policy does not allow exceptions to this cutoff date.
In addition to a completed registration application for
kindergarten, a few completed documents are required as well. Below is a brief
overview of what you will need. More information and examples of acceptable
forms of these documents are explained at www.npenn.org/kindergartenregistration.
- Proof of child’s age
- Proof of residency
- Proof of child’s immunizations
- Release of records form (if child attended preschool)
Before submitting a kindergarten registration application,
please review our website requirements and directions in full at www.npenn.org/kindergartenregistration.
