The driver of a tan Mazda Protégé that crashed into shrubbery along Highland Avenue in Lansdale Thursday afternoon was identified by Lansdale Borough Police as a 68-year-old male from Lansdale.

Police said there is no update to the man’s condition, but it is likely the medical event preceded the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

Montgomery Township Police, who are members of the North Penn crash team, assisted Lansdale Police at the scene.
